If for some reason you are uncomfortable with your hosts you will have the option of changing houses. Another option is to combine a week in a hotel with a week staying with a family.
For those wanting more privacy, we have self-catering apartments, whole
houses, all of which are suitable for
groups/families. Even if you stay in these accommodations, cooked meals may be available on request.

Taxis can be arranged for transport directly to the homes at an extra cost. If you prefer, you can arrange to be dropped to the bus terminal and arrangements made for you to be met by your host off the bus at your destination. This will cost you less if you are going to the outer parishes. The adventure starts here!
Each host offers a slightly different package. More details about the individual houses, hosts and prices may be obtained by e-mailing us. We request a 20% deposit of your total vacation price in advance to confirm your place in a home at least two weeks' before the start of your stay. The other 80% should be paid on arrival in Grenada. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel less than two weeks before your arrival date.
You can pay using VISA or MasterCard, or use a bank draft, travellers' cheques, or cash (US/Canadian dollars, Sterling, Euros, or Eastern Caribbean/Barbadian dollars).

This one-bedroom apartment is located just off the Maurice Bishop Highway close to the Point Salines International Airport.
The bedroom has one queen-sized bed. There is A/C and fans, and it is fully-screened. There's a shower/toilet with hot water.
Microwave, washing machine/dryer, use of laptop with broadband internet access. It is on a road set back from the main road itself, but is a two minute
walk to the bus route, where it is a 2 minute hop on the public bus to Grand Anse (supermarkets, banks, beach etc.) and about the
same distance from the airport. Most convenient for singles, couples and people visiting Grenada on business.

George's (2 minutes' drive) on a direct bus route but set back a little from the

Two bedroom downstairs apartment situated in Woodlands, in the SW of Grenada. 15 mins.' drive from St.George's,
and 10 mins.' drive to Grand Anse. Near the Clarke's Court Sugar Factory and the fishing village of Woburn. On a
main road but the area is quiet.
Living room, veranda, kitchen, one room with a double bed, one with two singles. Plenty of wardrobe space. Small
bathroom with shower and toilet. Hot and cold water, Cable TV, phone. Facilities for handwashing laundry at the back
of the house. Small garden to the front and side.
Owner/host lives upstairs. Older lady recently returned from UK, very keen on gardening. Caretaker also lives in
next-door apartment.
Whimsical, compact wooden cottage set in pretty garden of
owner's house. Own entrance to cottage. Secluded and cool, with wooden deck, BBQ oven,
verandah with hammock, one open-plan room with living room/kitchen downstairs, and small
bathroom with shower. Stairs lead up
to a loft with a double bed, and living room has a single sofa bed. Nice quiet valley with short walk to
bus route and jetty where you can take a boat over to Hog Island. Owners are
from the U.K. with two teenage sons, interested in sailing. Available in
June/July and the Christmas period.

Calivigny and Hog islands (snorkelling, beach etc.). Small house close to jetty
and seafood restaurant/nightclub. Friendly, fun atmosphere. Garden leads down to
the water. Two options - either a small studio
apartment room with en-suite
toilet/shower and tea/coffee making facilities with its own verandah or a room
sharing all house facilities. No meals provided, but you can use the kitchen or
eat in the hostess' vegetarian restaurant right next door. Bus stops right

Located in a quiet area like the country and near the town, with a
beautiful lush backdrop of mountains and greenery, 5 mins. walk from nearest bus
route, however, bus will drop you back directly to the house. 15 mins. drive
from nearest beach, 10 mins. from St.George's.
Comfortable downstairs apartment (steps to go down), 3 bedrooms (one with double
and single beds, one with a single, another with a double), bathroom with
shower, living room area with sofa and open-plan kitchen. Verandah, outside
washing area. Use of phone upstairs.

In a quiet, peaceful suburb of St. George's (10 minutes' drive to the centre),
two apartments form part of the host family's home. It's a short walk to the bus route. The nearest beaches include Fontenoy, north of St.George's and the popular Grand Anse beach. One apartment has two
double bedrooms (with double beds), bathroom with shower (hot water), washing machine, open-plan kitchen (fully-equipped) and dining room with sofa.

area and the bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. They are nestled in a
beautiful flower garden, created by the hostess, and the sound of the surf can
be heard from the beach that is a few minutes' walk away. Compound fenced
around. Close to bus route/15 minutes' walk to Grenville. Older couple returned
from U.K.
Just a few yards away from
the Atlantic beach in the village of Pearls, this newly-built comfortable two
bedroom house has one single, and one double bedroom, with lots of
closet/storage space. One bathroom with shower. It has a large, open-plan
sitting/dining/kitchen area, with a fully-equipped modern kitchen, with
microwave etc. Separate washing area with washing machine. Cable TV, hot water.
Short walk to bus route. Nearest town is Grenville. Pearls was the site for the
original airport (you can see wrecks of Cuban and Russian planes on the runway)
and an important Amerindian site that has seen lots of archeological excavation.
At Easter Pearls sees kite-flying competitions and drag-racing. Completely
self-catering. Good for couple/family wanting privacy and peace.
Plains is an area based
around a wide avenue, known for retired Grenadians returning from the U.K.
building enormous houses. This well-equipped two-bedroom downstairs apartment
forms part of the owners' home, tucked away on a quiet side road, that used to
be part of a sugar estate. Both rooms have double beds, and there is a shower
and toilet. Kitchen/dining room well equipped, with microwave etc. Large,
comfortable living room with big sofas and TV (no Cable, but works with British
videos). Small verandah in the back looking onto garden. Compound completely
walled/fenced around. Owners couple living upstairs, returned from U.K.
Interested in farming, and guests can wander around the banana trees next to the
house. Owners have dogs in yard. Local attractions include The Arena
nightclub, Bathway beach and the River Sallee Sulphur Springs.
10 minutes' drive from Gouyave, (banks, groceries, beach), 20 minutes' from St.George's, the main
fishing town on the west coast. Local attractions -
waterfalls and a nutmeg processing station.
2 rooms available in 3 bedroom house with a beautiful view of the hills and the sea. Very basic furnishings, esp. kitchen and bathroom, but
comfortable living area with TV, homely atmosphere. Nice back verandah with tables and view. Front verandah looks
onto main road, but not busy as is quite high up in the village. Bus service from outside house. Two double bedrooms available, with double bed in each.
Older retired policeman as host, mainly lives in. Would suit young backpackers,
either couples or young men. Meals are not included, but host does enjoy a good local cook-up. Meals can be picked up
from young lady further down in the village or delivered to the house at reasonable cost. Host is also taxi driver so can
arrange tours of island.
Set in the middle of the village of Concord, St John's, the house enjoys
a pretty and breezy outlook. It is an agricultural village and the
Concord waterfall is 10 minutes' walk away. One comfortable single
bedroom available, shared bathroom. Small pleasant living area and large
verandah. Hostess older lady with adult daughter. Will have opportunity
to observe farming on their nearby nutmeg estate. Meals provided.
This three-bedroom downstairs apartment forms part of the owner's home. Just a stone's throw from the main beach
and close to the main jetty of Petite Martinique, there are 3 grocery stores within 100 yards. It is close to the bank (open Tues/Thurs mornings)
bar and restaurant and Catholic church. The compound is fenced around, and the apartment has a small front verandah, shared garden, spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower,
and three bedrooms. Two rooms have double beds, one room has a small single bed. Meals can be arranged at extra cost.
Older lady living upstairs, in school holidays her teacher daughter and 2 grandsons join her. Dogs in household.
Very easy to walk around the island, and is a quiet and safe place to visit.
